Welcome to StorytellingU. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our websites, community spaces, courses, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

StorytellingU (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides educational resources, programs, memberships, and digital products—including courses, coaching, and masterminds—to help you develop your storytelling skills.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services.
  
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.
  
• Please use accurate information when creating an account.

3. Using the Services

We welcome you into our community with the expectation that you’ll engage respectfully. By using our Services, you agree to:

• Use our products and community spaces for personal and professional development only.
  
• Not copy, redistribute, or resell our content, including prompts, templates, and course materials.
  
• Not engage in harassment, hate speech, spam, or any behavior that disrupts the community.

Violation of these rules may result in removal from the community or suspension of your account.

4. Purchases, Payments & Subscriptions

• Digital Products: Sales of digital products (such as courses, trainings, and downloads) are final and non-refundable.
  
• Memberships/Subscriptions: Membership fees are billed as stated at checkout. If your plan renews automatically, you can cancel anytime before your next billing date to avoid future charges.
  
• Events/Workshops: Refunds or cancellations for live events will be outlined at the time of registration.

5. Content Ownership

• All StorytellingU content (including but not limited to prompts, courses, templates, frameworks, and community resources) is protected by copyright and remains our intellectual property.
  
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without permission.
  
• Content you post in the community remains yours, but by sharing it you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it inside the community spaces.

6. Disclaimers & No Guarantees

Our Services are designed to inspire and educate, but we cannot guarantee specific results (such as increased income, audience growth, or publishing success). Your progress depends on your own effort and circumstances.

The Services are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for damages arising from their use.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.

8. Privacy & Data

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use your information.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States.

10. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we’ll notify members by email or community announcement. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the new Terms.
